| Yesterday, October 3, 2008, Ngaragers celebrated its first year
anniversary...lol. Actually, nobody remembered. I only remembered it
during the Mass when I learned that it was also the first year death
anniversary of the sister of Sir Al. You see, that's how the Ngaragers
all began....while we were on the way to the wake of Sir Al's sister.
Exactly
a year ago, Erl, Mae, Ruth, Joyce and myself decided to go all the way
to Marikina. It was raining and we had a difficult time getting
there. We also had to take different means of transportation just to
get there and go home. By the end of the day, we were so tired but
still at a high....and so we called ourselves the Ngaragers. But I
won't share any more details because it's supposed to be a secret
organization. Any more details would pose danger to the group...LOL,
As Lian (Joyce's daughter) said when she saw our pictures, "Mommy,
action heroes?"
We added Jaycee to the group although he was not
with us that night. Well, it's been a year and congratulations
Ngaragers....fight for what is good! LOL
| When there is so much confusion around you, what’s the best
thing to do? Is it right to just keep mum
about things? When there is no steady
post to hold on to, what other options do we have? Sigh…it’s really difficult to talk about all
these because the issue is a bit sensitive.
I am tired of constantly complaining.
I agree with Mae when she said that she has turned into someone she doesn’t
want to be. I, too, noticed that I have
become a grouch – complaining all the time.
I am not one who would always complain about things but this school year,
it seems that I have become a faultfinder.
Of course, I am not happy about it.
At the end of the day, I do not find anything inspiring to talk
about. Or if there is, it’s outweighed
by so much complaints about the workplace.
Sigh….and we still got two more quarters to go.
| Teachers take time out again from their very stressful work to relax
and let loose on the beach. I just got home from an overnight outing
to Villa del Prado, Sariaya, Quezon. We were only 20 because the rest
of the faculty did not join. We had so much fun though. I must say,
that in my 4 years of teaching, this is the best outing for me. It
even surpasses Boracay LOL. Well, Boracay IS Boracay but I didn't
enjoy so much there.
Anyways, we swam in the beach and the
pool. When not swimming, we were singing. Some played billiards ,
table tennis, etc. The food was not so great but it was just a simple
meal.. Anyways, watch out for the pictures as I will upload them as
soon as I get a hold of the pictures.
| Oh my! I fell on both knees this morning as I was just about to
enter the gates of school. And you guessed it right....everyone has
seen it. I am pretty sure that the guard did because he looked at me
(though he didn't help me). The parents and students who were there
saw it. And since it happened OUTSIDE school, even passersby saw
it...yikes! It was so painful but I didn't care because I walked as
fast as I could to get to the 4th floor Faculty Room.
As soon as I reached the Faculty, that's the only time I saw how my
wound was. I tore my slacks and my wound was bleeding and pretty big.
Good thing Miss Hazel was there and she gave some first aid. Thanks
too to Miss Mercado for the Betadine.
Some luck I have there....two years ago, I also fell on the same
spot and I hurt the same knee (the right one). It happened in the
month of February too (the 14th to be exact). Sigh...two years from
now, will it happen again? I hope not...sheesh
